In a recent survey from the Center for Excellence in Polling, Floridians indicated they largely support Governor Ron DeSantis’s decisions in response to COVID-19.
A plurality believes that parents should be able to choose whether or not their child wears a mask at school. And 55% support extending school choice options to kids who are being bullied for their decision to either wear or not wear a mask.
A majority of voters—66%— say that the Florida economy should remain open while the state encourages public health precautions to combat the spread of the virus.
