The Center for Excellence in Polling (CEP) conducted a national survey on two of the top issues that Congress will face at the start of the new year: President Biden’s student loan cancelation plan and an extension of the COVID-19 public health emergency. Voters expressed clear opposition to both.

… of likely voters strongly or somewhat oppose President Biden’s plan to cancel student loan debt for individuals earning up to $125,000 per year and married couples earning up to $250,000 per year, including 63 percent of Independent voters.
