2021 National GOP Infrastructure Poll

With only 34 percent support, Republican opinion on infrastructure has likely been tainted by negative press surrounding the $6 trillion Democrat infrastructure package, killing any appetite for any spending in this arena.

While the Republican infrastructure plan didn’t resonate with respondents here, there are messages that push them closer to support for it.

In true conservative style, 83 percent of self-identified Republicans are more likely to support the idea of upgrades if it won’t increase the national debt.

Democrats join in support for the Republican plan when they know better highways and bridges improve the quality of life and safety for all Americans.

Voters also support upgrades when they aren’t just about convenience, but also improve national security.

Americans want a fiscally responsible plan that will do more than improve the physical infrastructure. They want to create more opportunity for the core of America’s strength—its workforce.
