The Center for Excellence in Polling recently surveyed likely Arkansas voters on their opinions about ballot initiatives in the state. A majority of all voters support requiring ballot initiatives to only have a single provision so voters can easily understand what the proposed law will do (74%).
A slightly smaller majority support requiring the state attorney general and the secretary of state to certify the legality of proposed laws before they appear on a ballot to reduce the number of legal challenges needed (62%).
