Idahoans Favor Election Transparency and Accountability

In a statewide survey, the highest level of support for ballot initiative reform came in at 79% for public hearings on any newly proposed initiative. This includes Republicans (86%), Democrats (74%), and Independents (75%).
Our strong second place finisher in this category shows clear a preference for increasing the security of ballot drop boxes through video surveillance monitoring (74%).
In a stunning display of bipartisanship, 85% of all voters support fines and penalties, including removal from their job, for election officials who knowingly deceive the public about elections.
